  • Private group tour tickets are sold at the same price as Public Tours.  Child rates are not available for private tours.
  • The minimum payment is for 10 guests during the week and 12 on weekends. You can bring less people if you like but that is the payment needed
  • A tour guide gratuity fee of 18% will be included in your total cost and provided directly to your tour guide(s).

What to Expect

Please read the following information carefully before completing the Private Group Tour Request Form.

General Private Group Tour Information:

  • EAT Saint Louis Food Tours offers the following tours subject to tour guide availability:
    • Taste of the Hill from Tuesday-Saturday
    • Historic Soulard from Tuesday-Sunday
  • Private Group Tours must be booked in advance and all logistical event details will be agreed upon ahead of time by the private group Group Organizer and EAT Saint Louis Food Tours
  • Groups larger than 16 people may be split into smaller groups and staggered 30 minutes apart in order to optimize our guest experience and ensure our food orders are well controlled.
  • Each food tasting and cultural walking tour highlights classical food establishments and their specialties, including the history, culture, architecture and local entertainment and restaurant offerings of each neighborhood.
  • Weekday private tours are generally easier to book than weekend tours.
  • EAT Saint Louis Food Tours will try to accommodate any particular requirements or dietary restrictions of your private group event.
  • Private Group Food Tours are held rain or shine
  • Child Tickets are not available for Private or Custom Group Tours
  • EAT Saint Louis is unable to pick guests up at their homes, place of business and/or hotel, as we are NOT a transportation company and do not bill by the hour.  All tours and prices are set for specific times and locations.  Guests are responsible for making transportation arrangements to/from tour meeting point.  We are happy to provide you with some transportation referrals.

Agreement Information

For Private Tour Tickets purchased within 14 days of the event date:

  • Full payment made by credit card is required immediately to hold  specific time slot(s), date and tour guide(s)

For Private Tour Tickets purchased 15+ days prior to the event date:

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to hold specific time slot(s), date and tour guide(s).  A deposit made by credit card will hold the date immediately.  Deposit Schedule as follows:
    • $250 (1-10 guests)
    • $450 (11-20 guests)
    • $750 (21-30 guests)
    • $1000 (35+ guests)

The remaining balance (non-refundable) is due 14 days prior to the tour.

Once purchased, all tickets and payments are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled; this includes no-shows or cancellations.
